Our fascination with Bunnings is so intense that the hardware store has been forced to create children’s birthday party packs — and shoppers are losing their minds.
Fans have swarmed Facebook to share their excitement over the new $29 item which includes Bunnings themed invitations, cupcake wrappers and bunting. It even comes with a box that can be easily repurposed into a cake stand.
“Stuff the kids! I want one for my birthday,” one mum joked.
“I LOVE this!” said another.

The pack — which caters for a party of 10 guests — has been designed to include all the party essentials to make planning easy.
“It’s not too bad price wise, there are 9-10 different items there with at least 7 that are a pack of 10 to cater for 10 kids. 72+ branded items for $29 is pretty good,” one keen shopper wrote.
“This would have been helpful when we did a bunnings party haha,” added another, while a third joked: “OMG I need this for my hubbys birthday lol.”
One woman suggested that Bunnings host the parties.
“Have the cafe cater it and do a kids class! It would be awesome!”
Kylie Stingers, mum of Carter whose Bunnings themed 4th birthday party famously went viral, said her son was stoked to hear about the new packs that he and other Bunnings fans helped inspire.

“When Carter saw the packs, he thought they were ‘soooooo cool’ and loved the hammer characters and birthday badge,” Kylie said.
“He thinks lots of kids are going to have the best Bunnings parties this year.”
Bunnings dropped the packs in store nationwide this week (excluding Western Australia) and they are available online.
