Lisa Vanderpump Posts Heartbreaking Tribute To Her Late Mother

Jean Vanderpump suddenly passed away last week at the age of 84. Lisa Vanderpump took to social media to remember her mother in a heartbreaking tribute.

The Vanderpump Rules star uploaded an old photo of her and her mother together on Twitter.

She added a caption that read: ‘As you go to RIP with Mark, mummy. A tragic year for sure. I thank all of you for your beautiful messages and words of kindness. Life is so fragile and I have no time for negativity.’

Lisa lost her brother just 14 months ago to suicide. It affected her so greatly that she was forced to go on antidepressants.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was dealing with her feelings regarding her brother’s death while feuding with her Bravo co-star’s. Not feeling supported by the women she once called friends is what made her eventually leave the show.

While speaking to Hollywood Life, Lisa explained: ‘I’ve got my Vanderpump Dog Rescue, I’ve got other projects in the works, I’ve got 5 restaurants…I’ve just opened in Vegas. I’m designing something at Caesars hotel, I’ve got three or four hundred people that work for me. I’m doing Vanderpump Rules, I’m an EP on that. All of my philanthropic endeavors — I work with GLAAD, I work with Trevor Project, I released a PSA.’

‘I never wanted to make a career as a ‘housewife.’ I had 35 restaurants prior to that. I was pretty philanthropic all those years. So no, I don’t want to be defined as a housewife as much as I’ve loved and enjoyed many, many moments there and this can be a fantastic platform and I have an incredible relationship with Bravo, but I’m not going to be defined,’ she continued.

The businesswoman left California to travel to London to make arrangements for her mother’s funeral.

Although Andy Cohen would love for her to return to the Housewives franchise, it doesn’t seem that she will any time soon.
